Direct comparison images
Took the Leica and Canon out to test the capabilities of the Leica and it's lenses. I was using my Canon as a light meter, as the Leica didn't have one built in, like my Olympus OM-1. I was also comparing the 3 working lenses (35mm, 50mm, 300mm) with comparable settings on my Canon
Lessons:- Loading film is tricky - take the time to do it right! And triple check it!
- Take the polarizing filter off of Canon! It dropped the f-stop by at least one. So I was over exposing the Leica.
- Leica lens mm rating don't compare to Canon exactly. The Leica is slightly more wide angle than my Canon captures because of the 1.62 crop multiplier on the APS-C sensor
